Family festival for the opening of the White Ravens Festival for International Children's & Youth Literature
With readings, workshops, walk-acts, festival café and more.
On Sunday, 16 July 2023, the 7th White Ravens Festival will start with a varied stage and hands-on programme for the whole family. It will take place at the International Youth Library in Blutenburg Castle.
Numerous authors from Germany and all over the world can be experienced on a reading stage and in workshops. Bestselling author Ingo Siegner will even read twice (at 12 noon and 4 p.m.) from the latest volume of "Der kleine Drache Kokosnuss - Aufregung in der Drachenschule". The festival will open with a stage performance by all the guests. Book sales and signing sessions, stilt walking, walk acts, creative activities, a festival café and interviews on the "White Sofa" round off the programme.
